Borlotti beans, Lamon variety, are among the most sought-after Italian agri-food specialties. Their highest quality is recognized by the PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) certification, granted exclusively to beans grown in the unique microclimate of the Belluno Valley (Veneto). However, excellent 100% Italian crops of this prized variety are also produced in the fertile lands of Piedmont. They are distinguished by their large size, bright mottled pattern, and exceptionally thin skin, which gives them an unmistakably creamy texture.
